PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
COST-EFFECTIVE PEST CONTROL FOR COOL-WEATHER GROWING
Amblyseius cucumeris predatory mites provide affordable, chemical-free control of thrips larvae and multiple pest mite species in cool-weather growing environments. This cost-effective predator is ideal for early-season preventative pest management.
HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Amblyseius cucumeris are released as live predatory mites that immediately begin hunting thrips larvae and pest mites upon release. This generalist predator targets multiple pest species simultaneously, making it effective for mixed infestations.
UNIQUE ADVANTAGES
- Optimized for cooler temperatures (54-80°F), making it ideal for early-season growing, cool-weather climates, and growing environments with temperature management challenges.
- Cost-effective. Cucumeris is one of the most affordable predatory mite options available, making it ideal for budget-conscious growers who want to implement preventative pest control. Early-season releases of this species prevent pest problems from developing, reducing the need for costly reactive treatments later in the season.

RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS:
BOTTLED MITES
- TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
- PREPARE PLANTS: Lightly mist foliage before release to improve habitat.
- APPLICATION: Apply predatory mites directly to pest mite infested areas. For concentrated release, pour bottle contents into hanging boxes and hang near infested areas. Leave container in place for 72 hours to allow full release.
- MONITOR: Continue monitoring for pest mite activity. Repeat releases as needed until pest mite populations decline.
- SACHET TRANSITION: Transition to slow-release sachets for ongoing preventative control once pest mite populations are managed.
SLOW-RELEASE SACHETS
- TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
- APPLICATION: Hang sachets in areas with history of pest mite problems.
- MAINTENANCE: Prolonged moisture and damp environments can cause sachets to degrade or encourage fungal growth, but also should not completely dry out.
STORAGE:
For best results, introduce immediately upon receipt. If storage is necessary, store at 45-55°F for no longer than 24 hours. Store out of direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
