PRODUCT TYPE:
Parasitoid (Aphelinus abdominalis)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
LONG-LIFESPAN APHID CONTROL
Aphelinus abdominalis provide long-term, chemical-free control of a wide range of aphid species. With a longer lifespan and extended egg-laying period compared to other parasitoids.
HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Aphelinus abdominalis are deployed to actively hunt and parasitize aphids in your crops. Unlike some parasitoid species that only parasitize pests, Aphelinus also directly feeds on aphids, providing dual-mode aphid elimination: both parasitism and predation.
The parasitization process takes approximately 14-21 days from release to emergence of new generations. Within this timeline, you'll see black mummies (desiccated aphid shells) on crop foliage, indicating successful aphid parasitization and confirming aphid control is underway.
