PRODUCT TYPE:
Triple Blend Beneficial Nematodes (Heterorhabditis bacteriophora + Steinernema carpocapsae + Steinernema feltiae)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
ELIMINATE SOIL-SWELLING PESTS WITHOUT CHEMICALS
Beneficial nematode soil treatments provide cost-effective, chemical-free control of underground pests. This triple-blend nematode formula targets soil-dwelling pest larvae, grubs, nymphs, pupae, and other underground stages of harmful insect.

HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Beneficial nematodes are applied as an easy-to-apply powder that dissolves in water. Once applied to soil, the nematodes search for and penetrate pest organisms in the soil, releasing bacteria that eliminate the target pest. Infected pests die within days, eliminating that generation of the pest population and preventing them from becoming damaging adults.

This formula combines three nematode species for maximum effectiveness:

  • Targets different soil depths and microhabitats
  • Effective across wider temperature ranges
  • Controls multiple soil pest species
  • Adapts to varying soil types and conditions
  • Ensures consistent pest control regardless of specific growing environment

WHEN TO RELEASE BENEFICIAL NEMATODES
Apply nematodes 2-3 times a year.

  • Early Spring (Mar-Apr): Target overwintering pests once soil temperatures reach 42°F+.
  • Late Spring/Early Summer (May-Jun): Interrupt first-generation pests to prevent summer pest outbreaks.
  • Mid-Summer (Jul-Aug): Maintain control during peak pest activity
  • Fall (Sep-Oct): Reduce next year's pest problems by applying nematodes before the pests go into dormancy for winter.

OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
Beneficial nematodes are most effective in soil temperatures between 46-86°F. The nematodes require adequate soil moisture to move through soil and locate pest organisms. Application during cooler seasons or with proper moisture management ensures optimal pest control effectiveness.

RELEASE SITES
Beneficial Nematodes can be used indoors, outdoors, or anywhere that developing pests exist. Use in gardens, greenhouses, indoor grows, houseplants, lawns, orchards, vineyards, and more!

RELEASE RATES:
Preventative/Light: 5 million per 2,000 sq. ft.
Moderate/Heavy: 5 million per 300 sq. ft.

Release rates vary based on:
- Type and severity of pest infestation
- Size of growing area
- Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, vegetation)
- Other beneficial insect populations already present

See Application Rates section below for specific release guidance.

RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
  2. PREPARE SOIL: Moisten soil before application to create ideal conditions for nematode movement in pest location. Keep soil moist for two weeks after application to maintain pest control effectiveness.
  3. ACTIVATE NEMATODES: Mix nematode powder with room-temperature water (59°-69°F). Because nematodes are living organisms, not chemicals, the amount of water you use won't dilute their power. Adjust the concentration based on infestation level and square footage of treatment area. Allow powder to dissolve for 15 minutes before application.
  4. APPLICATION: Apply dissolved nematode solution evenly across target area. Immediately water treated area after nematode application. Keep soil moist for two weeks following application.

HOSE END SPRAYER (BEST FOR LARGE AREAS):

  • Remove any screen filters from sprayer
  • Nozzle diameter must be 0.8mm or larger
  1. Mix nematode powder with water in sprayer reservoir
  2. Allow powder to dissolve completely (15 minutes)
  3. Walk slowly and evenly across target area to ensure full coverage
  4. Apply entire contents to treated area

MONITORING:
Severe infestations may require multiple releases. Reapply if pest activity continues after 2-4 weeks.

ACTIVATED NEMATODE STORAGE:
Once activated, introduce within 1 hour. Store activated nematodes for no longer than 6 hours.

NON-ACTIVATED NEMATODE STORAGE:
For best results, release immediately. If immediate release is not possible, store at 39-46°F in a cool, dark location for no more than 30 days. Do not freeze.
