Delphastus catalinae predatory beetles provide aggressive, chemical-free control of whitefly infestations. Specialized for heavy, active whitefly problems, Delphastus is renowned for its exceptionally high consumption rate and rapid whitefly population suppression—particularly effective when immediate, aggressive pest control is needed.
HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Delphastus catalinae consumes whiteflies on infested plants in all life states. Both adult beetles and larvae are aggressive whitefly predators.
Release rates vary based on:
- Type and severity of pest infestation
- Size of growing area
- Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, vegetation)
- Other beneficial insect populations already present

RELEASE RATES:
Preventative/Light: 1-5 predators per 10 sq. ft., weekly, 3-4 times
Or 100 predators per "hot spot"
Temperature Range: 50-90°F
RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS:
- TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
- PREPARE PLANTS: Lightly mist foliage before release to improve habitat.
- APPLICATION: Gently disperse bottle contents onto foliage, starting in areas with visible pest activity. Distribute as evenly as possible throughout the affected area to maximize pest control coverage.
- MONITOR: Continue monitoring for pest activity. Repeat releases as needed until pest populations decline.

STORAGE:
For best results, introduce immediately upon receipt. If storage is necessary, store at 39-46°F for no longer than 48 hours. Store out of direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
