PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
SPECIALIZED MEALYBUG CONTROL
Cryptolaemus montrouzieri predatory beetles provide effective, chemical-free control of mealybugs at all life stages. As specialized mealybug predators, Cryptolaemus target a wide range of mealybug species.

HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Cryptolaemus are both predatory as larvae and adults, making them highly effective for sustained pest control. They will remain active for weeks or months as long as adequate pest populations are available.

The Cryptolaemus lifecycle includes larval stages (14-20 days) and adult stages (4-6 weeks), both of which actively feed on mealybugs. The extended 4-6 week adult lifespan ensures sustained mealybug predation throughout the control period.

Release rates vary based on:

  • Type and severity of pest infestation
  • Size of growing area
  • Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, vegetation)
  • Other beneficial insect populations already present

RELEASE RATES:
Preventative/Light: 1-2 beetles per sq. ft., as needed 
Moderate/Heavy:2-4 beetles per sq. ft., as needed 
Temperature Range: 60-95°F

RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
  2. PREPARE PLANTS: Lightly mist foliage before release to improve habitat. 
  3. APPLICATION: Gently disperse bottle contents onto foliage, starting in areas with visible pest activity. Distribute as evenly as possible throughout the affected area to maximize pest control coverage.
  4. MULTIPLE RELEASES: For best results, release 2-3 times throughout the growing season, spaced 2-3 weeks apart.

STORAGE:
For best results, introduce immediately upon receipt. If storage is necessary, store at 50-56°F for no longer than 18 hours. Store out of direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
