PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
ELIMINATE SOFT-BODIED PESTS WITH NATURAL PREDATORS
Native ladybug colonies provide cost-effective, chemical-free control of a wide range of garden and growing operation pests. Once released, the ladybugs aggressively consume aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, thrips, scale, whiteflies, and other soft-bodied insects at all life stages.

HOW THIS PEST CONTROL WORKS
Ladybugs are both predatory as larvae and adults, making them highly effective for sustained pest control. They will remain active for weeks or months as long as adequate pest populations or supplemental food sources are available.

For maximum effectiveness, release ladybugs multiple times throughout the growing season to maintain continuous pest control and stay ahead of pest population growth.

WHEN TO RELEASE LADYBUGS
For best pest control results, introduce ladybugs early in the season when pest populations are beginning to build, before severe infestations occur. Early releases establish a predator population that prevents pests throughout the growing cycle.

Release rates vary based on:
- Type and severity of pest infestation
- Size of growing area
- Environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, vegetation)
- Other beneficial insect populations already present

See Application Rates section below for specific release guidance.

OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
Live ladybugs remain active and effective across a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels. They work best in temperatures above 50°F and perform optimally at 60-85°F. Adequate moisture and food availability (pest populations) keep ladybugs active and feeding.

CHOOSE YOUR PEST CONTROL STRATEGY:
Our live ladybug colonies are pre-fed and ready for immediate pest control deployment. We offer multiple quantity options to match your specific pest control needs.

RELEASE RATES:
Preventative/Light: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., monthly
Moderate: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., bi-weekly, 2-3 times
Heavy: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., weekly, 2-4 times.

RELEASE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. TIME YOUR RELEASE: Early morning, evening, or when grow lights are off. Avoid midday heat and direct sunlight.
  2. PREPARE PLANTS: Lightly mist foliage before release. Moisture helps ladybugs remain in your garden.
  3. DISTRIBUTE LADYBUGS: Gently disperse ladybugs onto foliage, starting in areas with visible pest activity. Distribute as evenly as possible throughout the affected area to maximize pest control coverage.
  4. MULTIPLE RELEASES: For best results, release ladybugs 2-3 times throughout the growing season, spaced 2-3 weeks apart. This maintains continuous pest control as each population hunts and reproduces

MANAGE ANTS:
Ants farm aphids for their honeydew secretions and will aggressively protect aphids from predators. Before releasing lacewings, control any ant populations in the treatment area.

STORAGE:
For best results, release immediately. If immediate release is not possible, store at 39-46°F in a cool, dark location for no longer than 14 days. Do not freeze.
