About VivaTrap Spongy Moth Trap
Spongy moths, commonly known as gypsy moths, can be a highly destructive tree pest, but VivaTrap makes controlling them simple. Each trap uses a species-specific pheromone lure to attract spongy moths and capture them in a powerful glue adhesive, stopping them before they can cause damage. No chemicals, no guesswork, just targeted, effective moth control.

VivaTrap Spongy Moth Traps are suitable for use in home landscapes, yards, orchards, and any area with trees or shrubs at risk of spongy moth damage.
Release Rates
- Small trees & shrubs: 1 trap per plant
- Large trees: 2 traps per tree
How to Use
Assemble the trap with the included pheromone lure, then hang 4–5 feet high in a tree or shrub. The pheromone attractant draws spongy moths in, where they are caught on the glue adhesive trap. Check and replace traps as needed throughout the season.
