ABOUT VIVATRAP PREDALURES:
This package contains 3 lures
PredaLure is a controlled-release attractant that sends out a natural signal to beneficial predatory insects, letting them know there's a meal waiting in your garden. Once they arrive, they get to work on aphids, mites, thrips, whiteflies, mealybugs, scale, caterpillars, and more.
The science is simple: the proprietary membrane releases a steady attractant over 60–90 days (8–12 weeks), mimicking the cues that beneficial insects use to locate prey. University and commercial trials have confirmed that PredaLure reliably increases populations of beneficial insects and reduces pest damage, without a single chemical.
Each pack includes 3 individually foil-sealed dispensers with twist ties, ready to hang throughout your growing space.
BENEFICIAL INSECTS DRAWN IN BY PREDALURE:
· Ladybugs — devour aphids, mites, scale crawlers, and Colorado potato beetle eggs and larvae.
· Lacewing larvae — generalist predators that tackle aphids, mites, mealybugs, thrips, caterpillars, scale, and psyllids. One larva can kill 30–50 aphids daily.
· Flower / hover flies — larvae can consume 200–800 aphids over 7–10 days, making them one of the most effective aphid predators in the garden.
· Others — Orius, Geocoris, Phytoseiulus, Stethorus, and parasitoid wasps.
RELEASE SITES:
PredaLure works wherever soft-bodied pest insects are a problem. Use it across:
· Vegetable beds (tomatoes, squash, leafy greens, peppers, brassicas, and more)
· Fruit trees and berry bushes
· Ornamental gardens and flowering shrubs
· Herb gardens and raised beds
· Greenhouse and nursery growing environments
· Lawns, yards, and landscape plantings
RELEASE RATES:
· Vegetable & ornamental gardens: 1 dispenser per 400 sq ft
· Trees: 1 dispenser per large tree
· Landscaped or open areas: 1 dispenser every 40–50 feet
· Pest hot spots: Add dispensers directly where pressure is highest
One 3-pack covers up to 1,200 sq ft. Each dispenser lasts 60–90 days. Plan to refresh at the start of each pest season or when the dispenser reaches the end of its active window.
HOW TO USE:
· Open the foil packet and remove the plastic dispenser pad. Do not cut or puncture the plastic membrane, as it controls the release rate and must stay intact.
· Thread the twist tie through the dispenser.
· Hang at crop height, spaced evenly across your garden or growing area.
· In areas with heavy pest activity, cluster dispensers closer together or add extras at problem spots.
· Swap out dispensers every 60–90 days, or sooner during hot weather when the release rate increases.
For the strongest results, hang PredaLure before pest populations peak. The attractant works best as a preventive tool. Getting beneficial insects established early means they're ready when the pressure arrives.
