Application
- Ladybugs: apply near plant bases in early morning, evening, or overcast conditions; mist foliage beforehand.
- Green Lacewing: distribute evenly across affected foliage promptly upon application; avoid crowding for best results.
- Aphidius colemani: disperse onto affected foliage, or use hanging release boxes for targeted coverage; keep off soil.
Tips
Remove yellow sticky traps for the first few days of treatment. Address ant activity first, since ants protect honeydew-producing pests from biological controls. For active infestations, staggered repeat applications are recommended over a single treatment.
Handling
Aphidius colemani and green lacewing perform best when applied promptly. Ladybugs may be held under refrigeration for short-term storage if needed before application.
