Flash Tape Bird Deterrent

This iridescent red and silver mylar film works as both a visual and audio bird deterrent. Birds are always on alert for danger — they hear sounds far faster than we do and pick up more colors than the human eye. Flash Tape exploits both senses: its mirror-like surface throws off flashes of red and sunlight (colors birds instinctively associate with fire), while the tape itself snaps and crackles in even a light breeze. The result is a distraction zone that pest birds simply don't want to be near.
Where to use it: fruit trees, gardens, grapevines, vegetable gardens, potted plants, balconies, pool areas, patios, gazebos, overhangs, and boats.

Getting the best coverage
Use 2-foot streamers in orchards, and shorter 8–10 inch streamers in vegetable rows or grape rows, spacing them roughly every 10 feet. For grape vines specifically, attach strips to every second row.
