Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew — Ready-to-Use Spray
No mixing, no measuring — just point and spray. Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew Ready-to-Use Spray is powered by Spinosad, a naturally occurring soil bacterium approved for organic gardening by the USDA National Organic Standards Board. It takes down bagworms, borers, beetles, caterpillars, codling moth, gypsy moth, loopers, leaf miners, spider mites, tent caterpillars, thrips, and more — all while staying gentle on the predatory beneficial insects, mites, and spiders already working in your garden.
Where to use it: fruits, vegetables, berries, citrus, grapes, nuts, and ornamentals, including roses, flowers, and other outdoor ornamental plants.
Active Ingredient: Spinosad, 0.001% (0.00008 lb active ingredient per gallon).
How to Use It
Shake well, then spray directly from the bottle, no dilution needed. Apply a thin, even coating to the tops and undersides of leaves, and for ornamentals, spray to the point of runoff for full coverage. Choose a calm morning or evening application to avoid drift.
Good to know: This spray isn't meant for overhead use on trees taller than 6 feet — reach for the Concentrate or RTS hose-end sprayer for bigger jobs.
For outdoor residential use only. Not for use on plants grown for sale, commercial seed production, or research purposes.
Bee-Friendly Timing Matters
Toxic to bees for up to 3 hours post-application, so avoid spraying blooming or nectar-producing plant parts while bees are foraging.
