How Each Insect Works
Ladybugs are generalist predators that patrol plant surfaces β focusing on leaf undersides and new growth where pests concentrate most. Multiple releases throughout the season provide more consistent control than a single application.
Green Lacewing Eggs hatch in 7β14 days at 70Β°F+ into larvae that actively hunt soft-bodied pests for 2β4 weeks. Each female produces up to 200 eggs, establishing a self-sustaining cycle of pest pressure reduction. Note: Manage ant populations before releasing β ants prey on lacewing eggs.
Praying Mantis are ambush predators that target a wide range of pest insects. Egg cases hatch in 2β12 weeks at 70Β°F, releasing 50β200 nymphs that disperse through the garden and grow into adults.
