Product Description
These tiny yellowish parasitic wasps are prolific egg-layers, targeting whitefly nymphs and stopping infestations at the source. Larvae develop inside the nymph, pupate within its remains, then emerge ready to continue the cycle. A wide temperature tolerance makes this a flexible choice across varied growing conditions.
Introduction Rates
Release 1–2 insects per sq. ft., as needed
Temperature range: 62–95°F with 50–70% humidity
Rates are general guidelines. Actual needs vary by pest species, plant, and infestation level. Monitor both pests and released insects to gauge success.
Application
Introduce during cooler parts of the day in the morning or evening. Hang cards on lower leaves, out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. Leave cards in place for at least 21 days to ensure full emergence.
Pro Tips
- Remove yellow sticky traps at time of release.
- Parasitized nymphs turn yellow/gold within 10–14 days, an easy way to confirm it's working.
- For full-spectrum control, pair with Delphastus catalinae and Encarsia formosa.
- Avoid broad-spectrum or systemic pesticides, which are toxic to these parasitoids.
- Best introduced immediately upon receipt. If needed, store up to 24 hours at 45–55°F, out of direct sunlight. Never freeze.
