Shipping
We will ship ground, second day, or overnight, according to your needs.
However, since many items we carry are living organisms, special criteria
may apply. In particular, some items must be kept cold during shipping.
These items are shipped using a
polar ice pak (unless climate is such that is not required), which limits the
available shipping options to second day or overnight.
As additional protection for living organisms, we may also use a styrofoam box inside the packaging to keep a safe environment for your valuable purchase.
Any 2nd day shipment placed after 12:00 pm
Pacific Standard Time after Wednesday will be shipped the following
Monday. We do not ship 2nd day orders Thursday
through Sunday.
Any overnight shipment placed
after 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday
through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
Because we care for the live insects and do not want your insects to sit in
the shipper's warehouse over the weekend, if they are not able to deliver it
for any reason, we do not schedule Saturday deliveries.
Please note that while we make our best attempt to keep all of our products in stock, Nature sometimes thinks differently! We need to work with the natural reproductive cycles of living organisms, which means that on occasion your order will be delayed. In such a case, we will make our best attempt to send your order as soon as possible, or notify you if there will be a significant delay.
We reserve the right to choose which ever shipping courier we determine to
use. Many different factors are involved in this determination, including what
day it is shipped, where it is going to, what is being shipped, etc. Rest assured,
we have researched this thoroughly and fing the best shipper to meet your needs
so the products arrive alive and in great condition.
Returns
We want you to be happy. We are very careful to ensure that you receive your beneficial organisms in perfect condition. If living organisms arrive in unsuitable condition, contact us within 24 hours to arrange a replacement.
Since living organisms are highly perishable, we cannot accept any returns. This means that all sales of living organisms are final.
Damaged non-live goods may be returned if defective. For these items, please contact us within five working days of shipment arrival to schedule a return.
